Website Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
1. Scope
This policy describes how information is handled when you visit the website irostories.com (the “Website”). It covers the Website only.
IRO is an interactive AI manga game distributed as a mobile application. The application has its own separate privacy policy, which is presented inside the application itself; that document — not this one — governs data handling in the application.
2. Summary
- The Website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies of any kind.
- We do not set cookies and we do not store anything in your browser.
- The only data recorded automatically is the standard technical log kept by the web server that delivers these pages.
3. Server access logs
Like virtually every website, the server that hosts the Website writes an access log entry each time a page or file is requested. Each entry may contain:
- the IP address of the requesting device;
- the date and time of the request;
- the address of the page or file requested, and the response status;
- the browser identification string (user agent) your browser sends;
- the referring address, where your browser supplies one.
These entries are used only to keep the Website secure and available — detecting abuse, diagnosing faults and planning capacity. They are not used to build profiles, they are not combined with data from other sources, and they are not shared for marketing. Logs are rotated on a short cycle and are kept no longer than needed for those purposes.
Where data protection law requires a basis for this handling, it is our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable website.
4. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
The Website sets no cookies. It contains no analytics service, no advertising script, no social media pixel and no third-party tracker. Nothing on the Website follows you across other sites, and no consent banner is needed because there is nothing to consent to.
5. No browser storage
The Website does not write to your browser’s local storage, session storage or any similar mechanism. Closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
6. If you email us
The Website lists an email address so you can reach us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, whatever you choose to put in your message, and any attachments you send. We use that only to answer you and to keep a record of the correspondence, and we keep it no longer than needed for that purpose. Please do not send us information you would not want retained in an email thread.
7. External links
The Website links to Apple’s App Store, and may link to other external destinations. Once you follow such a link you are on a service operated by someone else, under that operator’s own privacy policy and terms. We do not control those services and are not responsible for how they handle your data.
8. Hosting and location
The Website is served from infrastructure located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Access logs stay on that infrastructure.
9. Security
Traffic between your browser and the Website is encrypted with TLS. Access to the server is limited to the operator over key-based authentication. No website can promise perfect security, but the Website collects so little that there is very little to expose.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or erased, or to object to our handling of it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because the Website keeps only short-lived server logs and any email you send us, requests are usually answered by confirming exactly that. Write to the address in Section 12 and we will respond within 30 days.
11. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top changes, and the revised version applies from the moment it is published here.
